A modern refuge with all creature comforts right by the upper station of the Daolasa cable car. The recently renovated Rifugio Solander lies between Monte Spolverino and Monte Vigo at 2,045 metres above sea level. In winter, it is a hub for skiers in the Brenta Dolomites ski area (which includes the Marilleva, Folgarida, Madonna di Campiglio and Pinzolo pistes), while in summer it lies at the heart of a network of walks. The views are vast, stretching from Cevedale (to the north) to the Brenta Group (to the south).
